Around 10:30PM on Sunday, July 4th, the Lebanon City Fire Department was dispatched to the area of 12th and Church Streets for the commercial structure fire. As units arrived they found fire showing from multiple structures within an entire block, and the second and third alarms were then requested. Upon the response of Engine 43 (Rural Security), Wagon 30 was paged for the transfer assignment, and quickly responded with three. After standing by in quarters at Fire Station 43 for a number of hours, Church Street Command requested Wagon 30 to the fire scene. The Wagon arrived and assisted with fire suppression, overhaul, and clean-up for approximately five hours before returning to Myerstown Borough. Thank you to Assistant Chief 43 for the transfer request and Fire Chief 15-1 for the fire assignment request.
