At 1923 hours on Sunday, July 18, the Commercial Fire Assignment was sent to 1643 Heidelberg Avenue for the report of a building on fire. Shortly after dispatch, Tanker 30 responded with two personnel followed by PT-30 with four personnel. Station 35 apparatus arrived and reported smoke showing, finding a working fire within the building upon investigation. Upon arrival, Goodwill Members assisted with fire suppression and overhaul and were cleared to return to Myerstown in approximately two hours.
